(Viburnum trilobium)
This Viburnum grows as a large, densely branched, rounded shrub. For smaller yards, 'Compactum', shown in photos, may fit the bill, reaching to 6 feet high and as wide. Like many Viburnums, flowers are borne in flat-topped clusters. Bright red berries that can be used to make jellies and preserves follow in late summer. Brilliant orange and red fall color. Canopy coverage: 79 square feet.
