Tatarian Dogwood is an upright, spreading shrub, medium in size. The dark green leaves are dark above, pale green beneath, attractive against its bright red stems. Leaves of 'Argenteo-marginata', also known as 'Elegantissima', are edged in cream-white bands. (See photos.) Bluish white berries follow the late spring flowers. Red fall color.
